Isis 503

Isis represents the richness of the Earth, whose bounty arose through her union with her beloved Osiris, manifested in the Waters of the Nile. Isis is the Mother of Horus, the Sun God. Isis is also joined to the Morning Star, Venus. She is said to have been the first to practice embalming, which the Ancient Egyptians believed held the key to immortality. For this supreme gift, she is remembered as the Peerless Magician who gave humanity the chance to attain eternal life. 1 9/16" height X 1" width.

His mother borrowed some of Osiris' essence to aid her in her solitary creation of her divine son, and that is how Osiris came to be reverenced as his father. Horus presided over the funeral of Osiris, and won himself a place among the Egyptian Gods of Death. In this role he carries the souls of the dead to the Underworld, where their souls are weighed. He has three aspects. He is the Divine Child, The Chief and the Divine Consort. He is a God of the Sky, and his two eyes are the Sun and the Moon. Nefertiti 511

Nefertit was the wife of the Pharaoh Akenaten, who was the founder of the cult of Aten, the One God, who resided in the sun. She was a Queen of many names. They included: Great of Favor, Mistress of Sweetness, Mistress of the Upper and Lower Realms, the Great King's Wife Whom He Adores, and Lady of the Two Lands. Nefertiti was a woman of power. Her legacy remains to this day, and her face can be seen all over the world. 1 1/8" diameter.
Maat 516

The Egyptian Goddess Maat was the personification of order and the eternal laws of existance. She was also the Goddess of Truth and Law. She was the food and drink of Ra, the Sun God and the giver of life. Thus without Maat, life would be impossible. Without the diet of Truth and Righteousness she provided, the sun itself would die, extinguishing all life with it. Maat was also the one who judges the dead, weighing their hearts on the scales of justice, weighing them against just one feather of her impeccable uprightness. Maat held an important place in the complex worlds of the dead the Egyptians believed in. 2 1/8" height X 1 1/8" width.
Anubis 517

Anubis was the Ancient Egyptian God of the Dead. When his priests embalmed the dead, preparing them for their journey to the other world, they donned masks with the jackal's head of Annubis. As service for the God Osiris, lord of all the underworld, Anubis performed the "weighing of the heart" without which immortality was impossible. He also guarded the souls of the dead. Life after death was at the heart of the Egyptian way, and Anubis was one of the most important spirits in the courtly life of the realms beyond death. 2 1/8" height X 3/4" width.
Bastet 512

Bastet is the Egyptian Goddess of Pleasure. She loves music and dance. She was also the protectress of the people's health. She offered protection from both disease and negative energies. Bastet is a Cat Goddess, and scholars believe that she was once a lion diety. Her role as preserver of her devotees' wellbeing was found in the rage a lioness shows when her cubs are threatened. Bastet ia a mother-goddess; one who loves to see joy and wellbeing in her children, and used her power to help them enjoy life in happiness. 1 5/16" height X 1" width.
The Pharaoh's Seal 514

This seal symbolizes three of the powers of the Pharaoh. The first is the Ankh on the left. The Ankh is the symbol of life. The Egyptians believed that the life of the Kingdom depended on the life of the Pharaoh. The crook on the right, was a symbol of the shepherd, who used it to guide his flocks. The Pharaoh was seen as the shepherd, and the people the sheep he guided. In the center of the seal is an obelisk, which was thought to link earth and sky. It stands for the earthly nature of his body, even as it reaches for the sky, just as the Pharaoh stands between the immortal Gods and the humans, who live in the shadow of death. 2 1/8" height X 1 1/4" width.
The Cartouch 518

The cartouch is an ancient Egyptian design that honors the name inscribed within. It symbolizes the power that is in a name as well as the respect in which it is held. To surround a name with a line symbolizes the protective force that envelopes it. The name symbolizes the person and the cartouch protects the name. Most Egyptian cartouches surround the names of Gods and those of Pharaohs, who were seen as the incarnation of th Sun God, Ra. To carry such a cortouch might be seen as a way of respecting the force of the Gods, the Earthly Powers, One's fellow humans, and oneself. 2 1/16" height X 5/8" width.

The Ankh is one of the most important, enduring and popular symbols of the ancient world. The word means "life" in the language of the Nile region. Ankhs were carried as amulets against sickness, danger and death. The Ankh was life, and all invocations, prayers, and ceremonies used the Ankh to lend power to their thoughts. Thoughts that were intended to heal, nurture and protect. The Ankh is one of the oldest symbols in the world, and time only seems to increase its popularity. Sterling Silver Isis
Isis was worshipped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patron of nature and magic. She was the friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, and the downtrodden, and she listened to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats, and rulers. Isis married her brother Osiris and is the mother of Horus, the hawk-headed god of war and protection. Isis is also known as protector of the dead and goddess of children.

Sterling Silver Eye of Horus
The Eye of Horus is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, royal power and good health. Horus was the ancient Egyptian sky god who was depicted as a falcon. His right eye was associated with the sun Ra. The eye symbol represents the marking around the eye of the falcon, including the "teardrop" marking sometimes found below the eye. Approx. 1" tall X 1 1/4" wide.
Sterling Silver Anubis
Anubis was the Ancient Egyptian God of the Dead and the porotector of the deceased and their tombs. Anubis' wife is a goddess called Anput. His daughter is the goddess Kebechet. Approx. 1 1/4" tall X 3/4" wide.

Pewter, Brass, and Bone Egyptian Motif Jewelry

Isis Winged.
Great for those who adore Egyptian mythology or revere the Gods and Goddesses of the Egyptian Pantheon, this pendant displays a classical representation of the Egyptian Goddess Isis, with wings spread to reveal her full glory. Sculpted of pewter, this pendant measures approx. 1 3/8" wide and 3/4" long and comes upon a satin cord.
Sekhmet.
This pendant portrays Sekhmet, the daughter of Ra, the Egyptian Sun god, who is believed to be the keeper of female sexual heat. Her color was known to be red, and she is often associated with the root chakra and sexual drive. She provides protection as a mother would, and she is said to aid in finding strength and actualization of the feminine instinct.
